γ-poly glutamic acid (y- PGA) is a multi-functional and biode gradable biopolymer, which is formed by the combination of L-glutamic acid and y-amide bond. lt is usually fermented by Bacillus subtilis, and its molecular weight is generally between 10K-1500K Da. lt has thickening, gel, film forming, moisturizing, slow releasing, dissolving, bonding, antifreezing and so on.

Function :

The stickiness of polyglutamic acid is better than that of sodium hyaluronate.The transdermal absorption of polyglutamic acid is significantly better than that of sodium hyaluronate. Therefore, polyglutamic acid can effectively improve the skin sensation of dry peeling after use. The refreshing and non-greasy property of polyglutamic acid makes it have a better experience than hyaluronic in facial film products and effectively improve the discomfort of stickiness and rubbing mud.

Food Industry Polyglutamic Acid as thickener for foods & drinks, improves taste of drinks, stabilizer in ice creams, texture
enhancer, binder, animal feed supplement, antifreezing agent or cryoprotectant, bitterness relieving agent, as an additive in
preparation of starch foods (bakery & noodles) for avoiding staling, enhancing food texture and maintaining food shapes.
